Description: I am the CEO and Founder of Coaxum Connects, LLC, a professional and business management consulting firm. I am also an economic advisor, distinguished lecturer, motivational speaker, author, life coach and mentor; I’ve always sought to change the game and help those in need. Most recently, I was the Regional Advocate for the Office of Advocacy’s Region II, U. S. Small Business Administration under President Obama with oversight of all 62 counties in New York; 21 counties in New Jersey; the U. S. Virgin Islands and Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. In this capacity, I advocated for small business; providing a voice and ensuring their concerns with proposed federal regulations were heard and considered. Prior to that, I served as a Project Manager for Community Relations f or District Attorney Hynes. I was humbled to head-up the successful Community and Law Enforcement Resources Together (ComALERT) Program, which provided essential services to the more than 3, 000 probationers and parolees returning to Brooklyn from prison each year. Additionally, for over six years, I was the deputy state director for New York Senator Charles Schumer where I assisted in the management of his eight regional offices, advised on economic development and job creation. I was the first African American Woman in the Senate delegation to hold that position. I’ve committed my life to making connections that advance the lives of others. I am my sister’s keeper.
